Screen fabrics offer a contemporary and practical solution for balancing natural light and privacy in interior spaces. These innovative fabrics filter light and heat rays to reduce heat gain and glare, creating a comfortable indoor environment. A variety of openness factors provide a degree of privacy whilst maintaining an external view.

Screen Fabrics are woven in a mesh structure using an opaque yarn with openings for daylight, maintaining an external view but controlling the levels of light and heat passing through the gaps. They are designed with an openness factor, usually between 1-10%, with 1% being the most ‘closed’. This versatility makes them ideal fabrics for offices and workstations.

Metallised fabrics deliver an excellent heat-to-daylight ratio benefitting from an aluminium backing which significantly increases the level of heat reflected back out through the window.
